In February we like to have carneval.
In February we celebrate the Opera-ball in Vienna (in the
Opera –house).
The end of carneval is "Funkensonntag” in Schruns.
Easter
0ur first festival in spring is Easter.
In some states of Austria we celebrate a parade of palms.
At Easter-Sunday the children search for Easter-eggs.
May
On the 1st May you can see may-trees.
There the people dance around the may-trees.
In May and June in Vienna there are Wiener Festwochen.
In every theater you can see special performances.
June
At the beginning of June we celebrate in Bad Aussee the
,,Narzissenfest” .
On 21st June there is the beginning of summer.
The people make big fires o the top of hills.
September
In September the cows turn back from the hills.
October
Thanks-giving-day in October.
December
In December you can see many Christmas –markets in Austria.
On the 24th December we have a big
Christmas-tree.
